The Addonics forensic card reader is in permanent write protect mode so there is no possibility of overwriting the evidence contained on a memory card. 

The reader supports 12 popularly used media types including CF1, CFII, SM, MS, MD, SD, MMC etc., with transfer rates up to 450Mbits per second (depending on the speed of the media). 

The unit connects to your PC via USB1.1 or 2.0, and works with Win 98SE, 2000 & XP, Mac OS 8.6 or higher.
