WipeMASSter - 8 drive eraser

The IM WipeMASSter product is designed as a compact, standalone hardware solution for sanitizing and erasing drive data for up to nine drives simultaneously at speeds exceeding 3GB/min. The unit provides the tools necessary to perform high volume sanitizing operations using today’s P-ATA and S-ATA drives. The WipeMASSter can erase data on drives in one pass or by following the strict DoD (Department of Defense) standard which requires eight passes. The WipeMASSter can sanitize different size and model drives in the same operation. The WipeMASSter is also provided with an add-on option for formatting the sanitized drives.

The WipeMASSter is supplied with cables for 3.5" IDE drives. Optional adaptors are available for S-ATA and notebook drives.

Drive Cooler Solution for the WipeMASSter. Hard Drive Cooler reduces the heat generated by the hard drives and maintains a comfortable operating temperature.

Hard drives are sometimes used and operated outside their native originally intended environments. For instance, when they are placed outside a computer case they lack an adequate cooling mechanism and the drive’s operating temperature can rise. Today’s high performance hard drives are spinning motors (15,000 revolutions per minute) and they can generate much more heat than the older drives. The fan, used with the IM4008, IM4004 and WipeMASSter, will cool down the hard drives and maintain a comfortable operating temperature level, in which the hard drives can operate optimally.

9 Channel Compact Flash Adaptor

The adapter was designed to convert the standard 40-pin IDE interface to the standard 50-pin Compact Flash interface. This allows copying to or from 50-pin ATA compatible CompactFlash (CF) cards, including Microdrives, using the ICS WipeMASSter hard disk eraser.

It supports other ATA compatible Flash Media Cards such as Secure Digital, using 3rd party media adapters.
